Anyone think his wish will be granted and do you think the Browns would be making a smart choice? I could see why Quinn wants to go to Cleveland, I believe they will be a team on the rise. Also they got Braylon Edwards, who would be an excellent wideout to pass to. If I were the Browns I would take a quarterback, but if Jemarcus is there I would draft him. Maybe they could trade down if Jemarcus is gone and still get Quinn a few picks down. It all depends on who/what they would be receiving in a trade because not many top teams need a QB badly.....

Why he wants to be a Brown... Simple..... they're picking at 3... not 4, not 5, not 6 or beyond... hence higher payday
IMHO... you don't rebuild with the QB... so many other areas where you guys could use the help.... if I were the Browns I would solidify all the areas such as DL, Center, and Secondary with the draft.... let them get a year to gel and take a sign a veteran QB next year and then maybe draft a QB to learn under him for a season

Browns fans have to love the first day of this draft! You guys get a franchise OL in Joe Thomas, a future possible franchise QB in Brady Quinn, and a very good CB in Eric Wright who if he wouldn't have gotten into trouble in 2005 would have been a first round pick near the value of Darrelle Revis from Pitt. You guys picked first day picks that will have an impact on your team next year already and that is what the first day picks are suppose to do especially with your coach’s job on the line. I wouldn’t worry about you guys losing your first round pick next year because the wins this year will be worth it.

Browns were definitely a winner in this draft. I knew Brady wanted to be a Brown, but when he came up and got all emotional about it was actually when I got more excited. Not because I wanted to see a grown man...well not really...cry, but because the fact of his passion to play for the Browns. And I believe that same passion could be what leads the Browns to the glory days again....

It could not have gone any better for the Brownies...
Got the dominant OL in the draft, which was the right move for #3... and then watched Miami make a mistake and Quinn drop down the board... and then going up and getting the QB they needed without hurting themselves too bad.... it will make things more interesting in the AFCN over the next few seasons

The Browns had the best draft out of any team. Absolutely brilliant!

He might only get two or three contracts in his career so I don't blame him for trying to get the most out of it. I hear they are close on the numbers for the signing bonus, but they disagree on the pay raise format and incentives.

Well, I honestly would like to see him sit this season anyway. I'm not really sold on starting a rookie quarterback unless you absolutely have to. I just don't understand why this is so surprising to everyone. It's not like Quinn is the only player to do this. Holding out is quite common. Quinn wants to see what some of the other players get offered before he signs.
