At work I was reading one of the many newspapers laying around and it said that the Browns are high on this years FA market but that would like to get ahold of CB Nate Clements. It makes sense since this team likes to make big splashes on the market early. But w/ Bentley, Miller and Baxter some of our big splashes..maybe we should stick to getting little waves instead.

10.1 MIL for 2 years to Brian Sipe to come out of retirement.. that's what you division rivals need
j/k I think you guys need a smar draft to cover weaknesses, and not build existing strengths on offense, in combination with some choice FA signings (not necessarily the big dogs)... I don't think you guys are built for a run this season, but rather the following season (I personally think that Romeo will improve you guys and continue the trend next season to a possible playoof hunt)... I agree with your thought that little waves would be best, but in combination with the components not being guys towards the end of their career....

Definately no more old retreads. Nate is only 27(thought he was older) also would love to steal Porter now that he's been released. Porter would be better than McGinest.
I agree about Romeo and the run. But I think we could if we hit a couple FA's big time w/ the 3 pick (AP?) Bentley, Edwards, Winslow all are back in peak form. Since only 2 of 3 are likely to happen. I think we'll have another year to wait. |
