Kellen Winslow to have knee surgery

Kellen Winslow will undergo knee surgery before the end of the month.

Winslow attributed his inconsistent late-season blocking and inability to jump as high as usual to his knee. The surgery is expected to be an arthroscopic procedure, but we've not heard the date it's scheduled for.

K2 was definately one of the bright spots this year. But it was also very obvious at times that his knee was still bothering him. I hope that this is a short and easy recovery for him and he comes back stronger than ever.
