Why are you a Reds fan and who else do you root for?

I am a Reds fan from as far back as I can remember. My Dad was a huge
sports fan, and raised me as one too. If the game was not on TV- and few
were back in the '60's then my Dad had the radio on tuned to the game.

I still prefer listening to the game on the radio. Marty is the best there is,
and I would not have it any other way.

I actually have several other favorite teams and they are
in no particular order:

Cleveland Indians
Pittsburgh Pirates
Atlanta Braves- esp. when Smoltz is pitching
LA Angels
SF Giants
Florida Marlins
Detroit Tigers- next to Sparky-Jim Leyland is the best manager in baseball- yes I realize Sparky is retired- but he is special.

I've been a Reds fan since I was 6 years old(I'm 48 right now). I growup watch Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, Johnny Bench, Tony Perez, Clay Carroll, Ken Griffrey Sr and the lot.

Hope they have a good season in 2007, and finally get a shot at the playoffs.

BTW, I also root for the Toronto Blue Jays.
