First off I dont want to sound like a nag, or a bad guy.
Let me start off by saying I don't think he did. However he is the only player of the steroid era, with 500+ home runs not really being accused.... I just thought I would get everyones opinion, personally I don't think he did, but you never know... What do you all think

When you look at K-Griff during his years with the M's -- unlike McGwire and unlike Bonds in his homer-rific steroid induced surges, he never was bulky. He looked more like Barry Bonds did when he was with the Pirates -- skinny, a stick figure. That alone makes me think that K-Griff wasn't anywhere near performance enhancing drugs. Also, Ken never had a season where he just dominated the home run race like Mark or Barry did...
That being said, there is still something that people can keep pondering with regards to Ken: what led to his injuries? Deduction says years on Astroturf took their toll on his body... It's also worth noting that injuries seem to be a constant with guys on the juice., But what Ken did didn't seem drug induced. Not like Jose, not like Ken Caminiti, not like McGwire, Sosa or Bonds or others. I could be dead wrong but I don't think Ken ever was on the juice. If he was, he did a great job hiding it. |

He didn't dominate the HR race?
Code:
1992 AL-27-8 1993 AL-45-2 1994 AL-40-1 1996 AL-49-3 1997 AL-56-1 1998 AL-56-1 1999 AL-48-1 2000 NL-40-9 In 1995 he played in only 72 games and still finished 4th in the MVP with 17 HR. Without Griffey I wouldn't be a baseball fan, maybe not even a sports fan. He was good to me in 1994 when I shagged some flyballs before joining the service. He entertained me in 1995 while I watched an improbable run from afar. And he was again good to me in 1999 when I was one of the few from KJR with whom he would talk. He looked exactly the same in those five years. Five years when I saw him as close-up as anyone not on the team could. Ken caught the injury bug due to a combination of a poor work ethic, Astroturf and maybe even a little bit of Karma. I miss the Kid.
