Crede and Garcia

Will be traded to the Angels for Chone Figgins and Ervin Santana, the LA Times reports today...

Any thoughts?

Joe Crede is my favorite player on the Chicago White Sox, but with him going to Boras as his agent, I think it is unrealistic that he will sign with the White Sox when he becomes a free agent at the end of the year. I would not be that dissapointed if we lost Garcia, because we have McCarthy ready to slide in there.

I think Keny Williams has to make this deal. We can sacrifice to lose Crede's bat, but not his defense. Garcia is expendable, and we also pick up Santana, which is awesome. We now have a legit lead off man.

I love Joe Crede with a passion, but we have to do this deal. No question....
