I scratched my head win the Cubs named him their center fielder.....I always thought that it would be a more diffucult posistion to play, and a bigger chance of injury would exist.....Plus we need Soriano more for his defense so I am in favor of his move to Left....Don't know how long he will be playing in left or if the Cubs move him back to center....

I wish the Cubs would keep Pie in center, he is so quick.....We would have a trememdously fast line up if he stays.
We also have though Jacque Jones, Daryle Ward, Cliff Floyd and Matt Murton all looking for at bats and Lou wants 12 pitchers on the roster, instead of 11.... I hate to say this but Pie may be headed back down for a pitcher.....I wish we would send one of our other underacheiving outfielders down though.

Jacque Jones?

Pie has been starting at center field about 4 of the last 5 games....If he isn't starting at center Jacque is.
Pie is a player that has a lot of talent, and he is only 22. I think the organization believes that they shouldn't rush him up too fast. As you can see this season he is batting .150 with 1 RBI, and that was in his first game. I think spending this season in the minors would improve his game, and hopefully he will be starting opening day next season in center...As of now though I would go with Jones in center if we have to, he has some expeirence there anyway
