Default Jason Marquis to the Cubs?

Quote:
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch says that free agent Jason Marquis is believed to be close to signing with the Cubs.
Per Rotoworld:

Marquis to get three-year deal from Cubs

Quote:
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch says it's worth $28 million, but the Chicago Tribune is going with a more reasonable $20 million.
I find it funny that the Tribune is afraid to admit that the Cubs overpayed for him.

Kodiak will become famous soon enough

As a Cardinals fan I am very glad he's a Cub. Now he's getting overpaid to be a very mediocre pitcher...at best. He's got talent, but he blows it away by not listening to his coaches. Duncan is one of the best, if not the best, pitching coaches in the business and Marquis would never listen to him. Well he's the Cubs problem now. I imagine that its going to be a rough season for Marquis so Cubs fans better hope that their oft-injured pitching staff will be able to pick up his slack.

Also from a Braves fan point of view I would have to agree with everything Kodiak says about him. When we had him he would never listen to Leo, and even bashed Cox in the media just before we traded him to the Cards. I think all Braves fans were glad to see him go.
