Default Cavaliers Seek Their Seventh Straight Home Win Against Bulls

Quote:
The Chicago Bulls looked sharp in their first game after the All-Star break. They'll need another strong effort Thursday to win at Cleveland, where they've lost six straight road meetings with the Cavaliers.

The Bulls (30-25) lost five of six games heading into the All-Star break, but are 40-24 after the break over the past three seasons. They looked impressive in shutting down Atlanta in a 106-81 victory on Tuesday.

Chris Duhon led six Bulls in double figures with 17 points, and the defense held the Hawks to 0-for-16 shooting from the field in the third quarter.

Default Wallace Leads Bulls Past Cavaliers

Quote:
CLEVELAND, Feb. 22 (AP) --Ben Wallace's hair was as uncontrollable as ever. For one of the few times since he changed teams, so was he.

Wallace scored 14 points with 19 rebounds, a season-high seven blocks and two huge free throws in the final minutes to lead the Chicago Bulls to an 84-78 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.

Wallace, playing one of his best all-around games since signing as a free agent with the Bulls, dominated inside as Chicago snapped a six-game losing streak in Cleveland and improved to 8-2 in the Central.

"He was outstanding,'' Bulls coach Scott Skiles said of Wallace, who also had five assists in 44 minutes. "When he plays with that kind of effort, he can put up those kind of numbers. He was on from the beginning. We left him out there and he made big plays.''

Wallace just dominated the Cavs.

I hope that Ben Wallace starts showing up more often.

Huge win.

To tell the truth, I thought Luol Deng outplayed Lebron this game as well. Definetely made mroe clutch shots toward the end of the game. BUt Ben Walace was HUGE! Two sweet sweet layups man.

Yeah, LeBron's shot selection down the stretch was pretty poor as well.
