If the Bulls had gone 7-0 on the just-completed road trip, it would be one thing. 0-7? Quite another.
But if you're general manager John Paxson -- with the Feb. 22 trade deadline looming -- what do you possibly make of the 3-4 record the team brought home?

''We played well in spurts but not consistently, which has been a trend for us this year,'' Paxson said Monday. ''For a large portion of games, we seemed to play well, but when we played poorly, we really put ourselves in a tough spot and weren't able to climb out of those situations.

''The biggest thing that kept us from winning another game or two out west was our turnovers -- just too many to overcome on most nights. We also have to become more consistent in how we attack zone defenses. We can't allow that to keep us from being aggressive and scoring.''
