Decent, but he must get Paul Gasol at the deadline.
He defintely beat the past gm we had, and he did bring in Big Ben and has some nice young talent But if no trades happen before deadline he is a deadbeat gm,...

I really think that something is going to get done; Paxson knows they need to make a move to be a contender, and they have so many valuable pieces to offer in a trade (draft picks, expiring contracts, young players) to finally make a consolidation trade.

But to say he be a deadbeat gm if he doen't make a trade isn't fair. fact is Trading isn't easy. I have an understanding of that becouse I play Fantasy Sports and so many times I have tried to Trade and couldn't get someone to play along with I was trying to do. I'm sure it isn't much different for the Real GM's. In fact I'm sure it is much harder becouse they are dealing with people that are pro's. What if that deadline comes and the only Trade he can make is a bad one. Would you call a deadbeat for desiding to not make it or would you want him to make it and pretend it is a good one. |
