Post They're all big, but next 2 are huge

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The schedule says Sacramento and Golden State, but when it comes to the success of this seven-game trip, it might as well read make or break.

That's where the Bulls find themselves after a 2-2 start on what coach Scott Skiles considers a vital western swing. The next two games, Thursday against the Kings and Friday at Golden State, are against sub-.500 teams and lead up to a Sunday date in Phoenix against the sizzling Suns.

''These next two games are huge for this trip,'' Skiles said Tuesday after putting his team through a 90-minute practice at Arco Arena. ''The guys know it anyway, but we'll talk more about it [at practice today]. If we get them, we've had a good trip.''

We really need to finish this trip +.500, and there really won't be any excuse for anything less. If we want to be a contender at all, these are the types of games we have to win.

And hopefully Gordon can get things going a bit.
