Default Sabres Make FOUR Deals

The Buffalo Sabres shuffled the deck in goal on Tuesday, trading netminder Martin Biron to the Philadelphia Flyers for an undisclosed draft pick and acquiring netminder Ty Conklin from the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Sabres received a 2007 second round draft pick in return for Martin Biron, and gave up a 2007 fifth round draft pick for Ty Conklin.

Actually they made four deals.

Marty Biron was traded for the Flyers 2nd round pick.

A half hour later the Sabres sent a 5th round pick to Columbus for Ty Conklin.

Closer to the deadline the Capitals picked up Jiri Novotny and a 1st round pick for Dainius Zubrus and Timo Helbling.

And finally after the deadline had passed the Sabres 4th one trickled in with Buffalo picking up Mikko Lehtonen from Nashville for a 4th round pick.

Let's go Buffalo
