We were leading through 8 innings. We had Papelbon on the mound for the 9th. And yet we lost the game in 10. I hate these types of losses. They really sting. Schilling deserved better after pitching 7 strong against a solid team.

yup. This loss sucks. I actually didn't pay that much attention to the 9th - stepped away,came back and there it was.

But they will happen this year.

I think the Sox take this one. Though, I thought they would take last nights game, too. I just don't see the Sox dropping two vs. the A's with Schilling and Beckett on the mound.

Looking for a strong outing by Beckett, and hopefully improving his record to 6-0.

I'd really like to see the bats start to come alive alittle more.
