Default Schilling

McCarver usually has nothing interesting to say.

Today, he said something that I had to check, cause I couldn't believe it.

Curt Schilling has given up a total of 2 unearned runs in a Red Sox uniform. Total. Back in 2004.

On June 16th, Royce Clayton reached base on an error in the 6th by 3B Kevin Youkilis with 1 out - 3 runs score, 2 of which are unearned.

That was the last time.

That is remarkable - I dont' know that I've ever heard of a rotation starter giving up 0 unearned runs in a season - Schilling's done it twice, and several times 1-3. He's given up 10 unearned runs this century.
