Default Spring training injury reports

Just figured a spot to talk about injuries. There seem to be 2 right now - Timlin and Hansen are both having problems, neither with the arm. Hansen has a back issue and Timlin has a problem in either his side or his back.

This is not really good news for the Sox pen...

In other news, the Yankees aren't sure if Abreu will be ready for opening day...

AT, I don't think Hansen's injury makes much of a difference on the composition of the Opening Day roster. He probably was going to start the year in Pawtucket anyway. Even when healthy, I'm not convinced that he's one of our top six or seven relief pitchers. He's got a fastball and not much else.

agreed. But the sox pen is so thin on talent that if Hansen is healthy and figures out how to pitch, he will almost immediately become the top setup guy, if not the closer.
