It was nice to see the offense come alive for the first time this season. J.D Drew is swinging the bat surprisingly well. I know he's not going to hit .440 for the season, but if he can be a .300+ hitter with 20+ homerun power, I'll be happy with him.
I noticed before yesterday's game that Jed Lowrie was not on the 40-man roster. Who did he replace on the 40-man roster when the Red Sox purchased his contract from Pawtucket? Or did the Red Sox already have an open roster spot and they simply gave it to him?
