Much to my surprise, I was actually able to watch the Opening game live, and at a good time too. Here in Spain, the game started at noon. It was funny listening to announcers explain the rules inbetween at-bats.

Baseball is not that popular over here, but I think there is a chance that more people will get interested. I actually saw a couple of Red Sox caps already, and a group of locals watching the game at a 15th century Moorish pub. It was a surreal experience to watch Opening Day for the Red Sox in Japan, from a medieval plaza in Spain, with scores of curious Andalusians.
