Default Dice-K

Here, Dice-K talks about how his 2007 wasn't up to his standard and how he needs to improve his command. If Dice-K can dial up his game in a way even close to what Beckett did in 2007, the Sox will be very, very tough.

If Matsuzaka can experience a Beckett-like improvement next year, the Red Sox could very well be unstoppable. Plus I think we might get a lot of good innings out of Buchholz and Lester, assuming they aren't traded.

It's good to see that Matsuzaka wasn't satisfied with his performance last year and will work harder to get better results. The talent is definitely there, he just needs to harness it and trust the coaching staff a bit more. Towards the end of the year, he shook off Varitek a lot.

I hope to god they dont trade Buchholz...he has so much talent that can be developed. Lester could probably get 10-15 wins next year, and if they decide to keep him in the bullpen, i dont see how any team could get runs on the sox. As for Dice-K, i knew he is one of the japan pitchers where they're not satisfied if they let up 1 run. He WILL win 20 games in the near future (barring injury)
