rumors over weekend was that manny has told sox its trade me or he is sitting with a bad leg. when schill called in to weei last week , he did say manny wants out , and its either trade or sit him, the sit him part i thought was strange to say. but schill always has his ears in the gm's office, so lets give sox brass a break , what i'am reading is that boston is stupid to trade manny. but i think they would be stupid to have him on the bench like a bag of sunflower seeds, i will miss manny he was a favorite of mine, but so was my 1st wife ,lol **** happens

If, in fact, Manny told the Sox brass that, then there is a fairly good case they would have to not pay him.

That might be tough considering the ridiculous amount of power the MLBPA currently has.

The latest rumor is that the Dodgers have the "sweetest" offer on the table as of this afternoon. Just a few questions: 1. Will Manny want to play on the West Coast? He is a 10-5 player. 2. What do the Dodgers have that actually interest the Sox?
