1st period rundown
An exciting period, lots of scoring chances by both teams, Carolina got the upper hand by the stick of Eric Belanger. Who potted his 5th goal of the season at 16:37 of the first period, on the power play. ***GOAL CHANGED TO ERIC STAAL***

Carolina: 1
Boston: 0

carolina now up 3-0.

good first 16 min for the b's, then stopped moving thier feet all of a sudden.

on the second goal 2 bruins were missing sticks, it was a 5 on3 essestially.

5-1 for the canes.

I personally think that the b's can keep in it with anyone, aslong as they move thier feet, and keep skating. for the last 5 min of the first and first 15 min of hte second the b's stank it up.

no body was skating, when the d did have a good passing option they sent sof floaters to the forwards, the forwards made bad drop passes.

it's obvous that most likely Phillipe Suave isn't going to a future with the b's. the wrap around goal was weak.

Chistov is looking better and better everytime i see him. he and Kessel are starting to develop a chemistry. if they start to flourish we will have three good lines.

Strum has got to get out of the funk that he has found himself in, in the first he made a great move on the breakaway then missed an open top half of hte net.

ahhh...frustration. the b's were given some breaks when a couple of shots that beat Thomas hit the post, but it wasn't enough, the canes woke up and the b's went to sleep.

great goal by bergeron though, great shot from the slot!

I didn't watch the game but I was streaming radio from work (I'm in Toronto).
bs better beat the leafs tomorrow and tuesday again on that note, gonna try to get ticks to the tuesday game since I work downtown near the ACC.

How'd we break down? and I was lookin at the stat sheet and Alberts and Mara got more ice time than big Z... its not that much more but He's usually close to the 30 minute mark. any of you notice a reason for that?

please bring back Toivonen from the minors soon!

Hannu needs to re-establish himself as the #1 goalie in Boston...

i thought alberts was playing fairly well-except when the whole team went in the crapper, maybe that is why he got sat.

odd that you as a question about big Z, i had a dream last night that the b's took the C away from him, is that sad or what?
