Should be an entertaining game, with us getting our first look at Malkin live. Pens aren't the same team, Fluery has been playing very well, probably looking at a tough loss unfortunately.

I hope I'm wrong tho, maybe Timmay will stand on his head for us.

like i said on another post, after sidney and malkin the pens are pretty thin.

but this is the type of team the b's have struggled with over the last decade, they always seem to lose to the teams they should beat handidly.

Late word from Pittsburgh: Center Marc Savard will go tonight for the B's, having missed yesterday's practice due to sickness.

P.J. Axelsson is a game-time decision this evening, and if he can't go the Bruins are calling up Yan Stastny just in case.

Defenseman Milan Jurcina is sitting tonight out and fellow D-man Mark Stuart will make his season debut.

Brian Finley will start between the pipes.

looks like Timmy won't play tonight... go Finley!!!!!!!!
we could still pull this one out I think. Just gotta be disciplined, their pp is a very good unit and our pk has its share of problems.

our PK has looked better lately.

If the b's can shut down malkin, i won't say it's a sure thing, but it becomes a whole lot easier to win tonight.

the b's are going to have to watch out on the PP, with the way the b's like to move the puck around between the d men (i love our pp, get it to the point, get some traffic, geta shooting lane, and shoot the damn thing, way better than Joe holding hte puck on the side boards and standing still for 2 min), Jordan Stall is going to be a concern, he has a nack for picking off pucks that were meant for a d to d pass.

Mark Sturt...i'm not sold on him just yet. had flashes of being a good dman last year, but i see way too much Nick Boynton in him at this point. I really liked Lashoff when he was here, and can't wait to see him as a full time B.

An amazing save by Finley, as Erik Christensen had a break away.

the goal wasn't findley's fault, when you watch it you will notice that it was tipped by the dman, he was doing the right thing, the puck was going low, then the dman fudged it up for him. EITHER BLOCK IT OR GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!!!!!

b's don't seem to be all there tonight, but not bad. have had some good chances.

i can't believe the b's let them back into the game...atleast they got the win.

the b's should have gone up by 3 a few times in the 3rd.

anyone know what happened to FInley?

well that was a real stupid penalty at the end, the refs blew the call
it was purely stick on stick. that was not alberts fault.

it was great we won, picked up the 2 pts... but i really wish we'd win more in regulation. it takes longer to catch up. but the bruins do battle adversity

im glad we pulled this out. now lets hope carolina continues their poor play as of late. at least for one more game

another question, why not move Kessel back to the wing where Lewis is more comfortable with his defensive abilities?

it is frustrating seeing Kessel sit because he isn't ready to play center, also having Chistov on his wing isn't helping Kessel when it comes to his defensive shortcomings, although i think they could be great together (offensivly) in the future.

anyone else notice Chistov is getting more and more ice time every game?
