Default Cardinals sign free agent 2nd baseman Kennedy

Solid signing for the Cards. Will be fun to see him back in the middle with Eck.

Yeah that's a solid signing, but we'll see what Kennedy has left in the tank.

Adam Kennedy is a nice signing by the Cardinals. Interesting to see him and David Eckstein back together.

I was hoping the Mets would sign Kennedy, but oh well.

Mets probably won't do anything in the middle infield now that they signed Damion Easley and re-signed Jose Valentin.

So should we start calling them the St.Louis Angels of Missouri?

Damion Easley is just replacing the departed Chris Woodward. As for Jose Valentin, he could be the starting second baseman, but everything I have read suggests that Omar Minaya would rather have Valentin as a bench player and not a starter.

Who's out there that's left? Is Ronnie Belliard still available?
