The Phillies have found a familiar face to complete their 2007 rotation. They have an agreement with righthander Adam Eaton, their first-round pick in 1996 whom they traded with two other pitchers to the San Diego Padres in 1999 for Andy Ashby

Apparently at this point the deal is contingent on the right-hander passing a physical. 3yrs/24 Mil on a injury prone pitcher seems a bit risky.

And the Phillies didn't go beyond 3 years. Alot of these guys are commanding 4 year deals. Rotation looks solid IF everyone can stay healthy and Lieber shows up to Spring Training in shape.

yeah Health with him is key. If he's healthy, I think he'll win 10-14 games, probably a 4.3-5 Era, especially playing in Coors Field East. I'd rather go 3 years with Eaton rather than 4 years with Padilla, Lilly or Meche.
