It was Quoted in a newspaper in CAL. that the Angels will try to get either Joe Crede of the White Soxs, A-rod from the yankees or Miguel Tejada of the Orioles to play 3B for them in 2007

I don't see how the O's can give up any offense, so I don't know how they would even consider letting Tejada go.

To get young talent, especially pitching, I could certainly see the O's letting Tejada go

Actually, there was no quote from any Angels representative, it's merely more speculation on the part of a sportswriter. It's still entirely possibly that the Angels go with one of their in-house options at 3B in 2007.

I've heard that the Angels may go with Chone Figgins at 3rd base.

There is still a very strong possibility that they will stay in house but it was quoted that they were trying to get one of thoose three mainly but not ne were close yet

In a deal that would fill the Angels' need for a power hitter but that would come with a steep price, the Angels and Chicago White Sox have discussed a trade that would send infielder-outfielder Chone Figgins and pitcher Ervin Santana to Chicago for third baseman Joe Crede and pitcher Freddy Garcia, baseball sources said Monday

I'd think the Angels could get a little more for Santana. If the Sox are able to unload Garcia and get Figgins and Santana out of Crede great move for them. You have a link for this rumor?
