Red Sox might be within days of signing outfielder J.D. Drew, filling their need for a right fielder less than a week before the winter meetings begin in Orlando, Fla.

I think a lot of people figured the Sox would get him once he opted out of his contract. I can't wait to see how outrageous his contract will be.

Baseball market = 2 steps forward and 3 steps back...

Appears things might be close for the Redsox and JD Drew. Does this mean Manny will finally be moved?

It's a shame he won't stay in the NL. I will miss booing him everytime he's here in Philly.
