With the deadline approaching, you know Jim Bowden is getting an itchy finger. He's already pulled off the Jon Rouch for Emilio Bonifacio trade, but that was almost a week ago. What else will Trader Jim do before the deadline?
According to the rumor mill, a number of teams have inquired abot Odalis Perez and Tim Redding. There appears to be some interest in Paul LoDuca, who would like to go to a contender, preferably on the East Coast, where he can catch. The Nats would like to move Felipe Lopez -- good luck with that -- and give the spot to Bonifacio (or perhaps let him develop a teensy bit longer and recall Pete Orr.) Do you see these guys moving or stayign, and what could the Nationals get for them? We'll see within the next couple of days, won't we? |
