Not a bad idea, though. it makes room for Bernie, Melky doesn't have to be traded, the Yankees get a lefty for the pen, and if anything happens, there is still Kevin Reese. All in all, not bad.

Damaso Marte would be a nice addition to the Yankees bullpen. I do not know much about Kevin Thompson though.
