Default Seattle - Atlanta Trade?

Quote:
The Mariners found a way to prop up a pitching rotation in desperate need of help, agreeing to trade hard-throwing reliever Rafael Soriano to Atlanta for left-hander Horacio Ramirez, several media outlets reported Wednesday.

The Mariners are expected to announce the deal soon.

"There were physicals, but they're all done and it's going through," a major-league front-office source told the Seattle Times.
Reports: Mariners trade Soriano for Braves starter

What's Seattle doing trading a good setup man for a #4 starter?

Who cares, this allows the Braves to get a good 8th inning man. Now the Braves want be trading LaRoche to the Pirates.

I really like Rafael Soriano. I think if he stays healthy he could be a great setup man. Horacio Ramirez started out in Atlanta pretty good did he fall off the last few years? Seattle needs starting pitching so it's probably a pretty fair trade. I just happen to be a Soriano fan.
