Default Stat leaders for WS teams

What statistic is a team most likely to excel in, when they go the World series?
----
A little background on how I arrived at this. I have though in recent years the current Cardinals are so different from the 'traditional"' Cardinals. and it occurred to me to look up playiong style. The Cardinals went to the WS 15 times from the 20's to the 80's. Of those 15 seasons, they led the league in Triples 4 timws ans were second in triples 9 times. Once they were 3rd, and once 6th in a 12-team league. Leading me to beliee the Cardinal "Tradition" was a style of play that hit a lot of triples, which is pretty exciting basesball.
---------
But the question, what statistial, department is, with high frequency and regularity, typical or characteristic of the teams that play iun the World Series?

Among the "asset stats" (as opposed to "debit stats" like balks and errors)
The lowest correlation, and possibly even a negative correlation, might be Double Plays. The league DP leader is more often the losingest, rather than the winningest team, owing to a poor pitching staff that leaves the infield with abundant opportunities to turn the DP.

I am in the process of putting together spreadsheets giving the league rank of each Wrold Series team. I am doing four sheets, showing the rank for both the winning and losing teams for batting and pitching stats. I started with the batting stats for the winners and have gotten through 1945.

I'm just getting the average for teams, from 1903-present. Would anyone like me to group them by decade or something like that? Post it here or p-mail me and I'll add it to the sheet.

I'm using stats from Baseball Reference. for batting they have:
At bats
Runs
Hits
Doubles
Triples
Home Runs
Walks
Strike Outs
Average
OBO
Sluging
Steals
Caught Stealing

They do list each team's double plays, but they don't have it ranked for the whole league. I may go back and go through each team to get that rank for my next project.
