Was talking to a friend earlier and he dropped Biff Pocoroba on me so I had just had to go and want to resurrect some of the names of yesteryear...and today as well
first one that stands out is Shooty Babbitt Razor Shines Onix Concepcion |

Here are some great baseball names, the first few because they are pretty imposing, then get distilled to something better suited to a scorecard:
1. Christian Frederick Albert John Henry David Betzel, who played under the name "bruno" Betzel; 2. Calvin Coolidge Julius Caesar Tuskahoma Mclish, who appeared on the baseballcards as Cal McLish, or "Buster;" 3. William Hayward Wilson, aka "Mookie" Wilson; 4. Lewis Dennison Hamlin, who pitched as Luke "Hot Potato" Hamlin .... Then, there are guys whose names just sound like they should be baseball players: 5. Grady Hatton 6. Jimmy Bloodworth 7. "Stubby" Overmire 8. Jeff Heath |

"Sorry but whats your problem don't have to be so nasty"
Not being nasty at all. In a brief period, you started enough new threads to fill an entire page on the board. I civilly asked a question as to why you couldn't have slowed down the pace for a few seconds to check the name of a HoF player so his name would be recognizable. You're welcome: YASTRZEMSKI. A few more good baseball names: "Poosh 'em up" Tony Lazzeri Wayne Terwiliger "Puttsy" Caballeo "Sibby" Sisti [Sebastian] |

There are some great ones out there. Hopefully I'm not stealing someone's thunder, but here are a couple of favorites.
Slim Sallee Ed Figueroa Nap Lajoie Bump Wills (of the infamous Blue Jays error card) |
