Recently saw an interesting new website about the history of baseball and its numbers, Baseball Evaluation: From Doubleday to the Present Day. It has player ratings for every year, best ever lists, including best ever lists for all teams in history, plus a career track. Might be worth a look.

Thanks for passing it along. If it was free, it might be fun to browse at, but otherwise, it seems rather useless. Not enough data (in the free peeks) , except for the arbitrary dollar values that somebody formulized, and wants $40 to let you look at them.

I thought there was pretty much there for free, player grades for every year, plus I really like the Best Players Season by each Franchise, even those from history. The only fee was for the premium content, which was 3,000 pages, and there was a free sample to that. To each his own. Respect your opinion. Always interesting to try out new sites.
