Default Who am I?

I played primarily in the ‘70s and early ‘80s
I was mainly a center fielder in my prime
I hit 20 or more HR twice
My high OPS+ for a season was 150
I played in one World Series
I was an All-Star game starter one time
I have three career post-season home runs
My initials are AO

Amos Otis. Most of the criteria also fit Al Oliver, too, but not the center-field part. Excellent, tricky question. Keep it up.

Al Oliver played CF almost exclusively during the first half of the seventies...

otherwise everything else is dead on.

Tricky indeed!

You guys are good. Either answer is correct, but when somebody answers one, you can always say that's not the one you were thinking of.

I think Otis would be answered more often, so the correct solution was Oliver.

I came up with their similarities on my own. I knew they were similar-type players playing in the same era. It's rather interesting to note what they have in common. Perhaps they were separated at birth.

And don't forget, Oliver had a musical named after him too.
