It actually just happened in the Japan Series. The starter went 8 perfect and the closer struck the opposition out 1,2,3.

It has probably happened hundreds of times in Little League, with their pitch count limits and horrible imbalance of teams.

Yes, but in little league I doubt you had a MLB caliber starters on each mound, one as the closer and a former major leaguer as the Series MVP.
