The team is pleased so far with the attitude of rookie quarterback Troy Smith and believes it made a smart move picking him in the fifth round. Because he was taken so late, Smith has something to prove. One key word to describe Smith on most pro scouting reports was "competitor." The team believes if Smith plays in the NFL, he will be driven now more than ever. The team also has Steve McNair to serve as a tutor. The big knocks on Smith are that he is undersized at 6-2 and has poor mechanics.

Well.. at least some positive news.. even if it is fluff...

Some of the latest news is also just the normal talk....

Billick says Grubbs must compete against Kendrick for the starting job at guard. This is to be expected.

Even though he's dead, he's the better choice! Superdelegates - Because even the Democratic party knows it's base is too stupid to make really important decisions.
