Default Week 2 outlook, NYJ at BAL

This, even with the injury questions we have, should be a genuine opportunity to bounce back against a clearly inferior team. This should be a field day, even if Boller plays at QB

BAL on Offense - This is going to be as simple as a steady dose of the Jet killer, McGahee... balanced with a steady dose of Heap over the middle and a couple long shots down the field to Williams... We should run the ball at least 40-45 times with McGahee, Smith, and the rest of the RB crew.. The jets should not have much of an ability to stop us....

BAL on defense - I honestly think that Lewis should sit out this game, but knowing his passion, he will still be in there. Our front line defense should POUND the offensive line protection of the Jats. And whether or not it is a banged up Pennington or an inexperienced backup, I feel sorry for the QB of the Jets. He is going to be hurried, hit, and sacked with regularity....

If it would not be for CHI playing the very vanilla Chiefs in the windy city, this game would be my lock of the week.

BAL 31 NYJ 13

McGahee 2TD
Less than 70 yards rushing by the Jets
At least 4 sacks for the BAL defense
Before the slop at the end of an already won game, less than 175 yards passing by the Jets

Game was a lot closer than it should have been at the end... this should have been over by the middle of the 2nd half, but somehow we let them have a chance at the end... not good....

Good that we won, but we have a LOT of improvement to do before the meat of our sched (NE, SD, IND) is upon us
