Much in the same way that Paris Hilton copulated and fellatioed her way to notariey, Cynthia Rodriguez has now risen above a literal sea of unknown women in the world who possess her same last name, to a vaulted status of recognizablity by virtue of nothing more than word association.
I mean at least for the next few days, whenever anyone hears or sees the phrase "F--- YOU", they will immediately think of the previously benign and white-bread personality of Cynthia.... wife of Alex. Well.... at least Brian Cashman will. He, in an anything-but-cool-and-calm response to media questions, would only disclose that "speaking with her" was indeed a priority on his agenda. The act: Cynthia wore a top with those words inscribed on it to a baseball game at Yankee Stadium. See, the Yankees have an official policy prohibiting the use of such language by any person under it's employ. Here's my question: What happened to certain other factors which should have prohibited Mrs. Alex from pulling a stunt like that? To name a few: 1. Class. 2. Respect for her husband. 3. Class 4. Respect for her young daughter who was accompanying her. 5. Class 6. Respect for those sitting around her who also brought their kids along. 7. Class 8. Respect for herself. 9. Class 10. Common sense. 11. Class 12. Possession of a brain 13. Class 14. A certain sense of responsibility 15. Class I've always wondered why certain rules and policies even had to be written out. Thanks, Cynthia Rodriguez, for helping me to understand. |

Well, I turned to the part of the Sun Sports section clearly designated as "Orioles Baseball" and that's where I found the article about Mrs. A-Rod.
I guess their editors, who most likely know more about what constitutes interesting and relevant reading to their readers than either you or me, decided to print it under that heading. I believe that's license enough to post comments about it here.... and you're welcome to do the same. |
