Rockies offer Kim to O's

Fresh from the rumor mill (ok, not so fresh.. it is from yesterday)....

The Colorado Rockies have offered Byung-Hyun Kim to the Baltimore Orioles, revisiting talks that began in spring training.

Baltimore was interested, but only if Colorado would eat a large chunk of Kim's $2.5 million contract.

The Orioles have reliever Todd Williams in Triple-A making $775,000 who could help balance out a deal since Baltimore is not in position to increase its payroll.

Kim's a bum. So is Williams. I hope I never again see an Oriole uniform on either of them.

When they upgraded the bullpen and then re-signed Williams, I'm not sure what they were thinking, but I believe they realized it almost immediately afterwards. Waiting until the last minute to assign him to Norfolk was pure damage control. Now they'd love to trade him, but a bum-for-bum deal isn't what they're looking for.

Exactly.... bum for bum is exactly what this is... with Williams, we should just suck it up or cut him.... no use trading for another bum... at leat cutting him would leave more AAA play time for an up and comer
