Default Jim Duquette Asst GM on NY Radio

He said the Orioles clearly wanted Carlos Lee but when he signed with Houston they made an intentional move to shore up the bullpen and thats what Orioles fans should look forward to this year.
As a Mets fan I can tell you that Bradford was as solid a reliever as we had in the clutch and you should look forward to his contribution.

I like Jim Duquette and think it was a smart move by Angelos to hire him. When I have seen or heard him doing interviews he is always open and informative. He doesn't hedge on answering questions, tells it like it is. It's been a long time since Oriole fans have had this approach from the front office. He appears frequently in the broadcast booth during games and is not bashful about telling the fans what the Oriole management is thinking.

For the first time in recent years it's apparent to me that the Orioles do have a plan in place.

Well, Poppa, I'm not sold yet on a plan in place.... I'm once bitten twice shy... but I do agree this is a smart move
