I was thinking to draw more interest on this board if everyone would be interested in playing a fantasy type game where we pick one driver a race and however many championship points they earn that week that is how many points we get.

Rules to make things interesting are you can only pick a driver once during the season and a driver is only allowed to be picked by one person a week.

You can pick your driver anytime before the race.

How about it?

I am for it Hellwig. That must be great and amazing to have a race named after you. Jim Stewart won a contest, I remember reading about a while ago.

More bad news for Michael Waltrip Racing and Toyota:
Quote:
Dale Jarrett used up his last Championship provisional to get into the Talladega race and must qualify on speed to get into the Richmond event.

All team's outside of the top 35 in owner's points are not guaranteed a start in the lineup and need to qualify for the event on speed. Any past Cup Champion is allowed up the 6 former champ provisionals to use if their speed isn’t good enough. Jarrett used all six and his #44 Toyota team is currently 38th in points.

I would say the odds don't look too good for DJ. His best start this season was 30th and that was the only time he started in the top 35. I can't believe how bad Toyota looks; did Dodge look this bad when they first entered the series?

Jarrett made the race at Bristol and Martinsville on time with the COT, so maybe he could make the race here. I am worried about DJ, he's my favorite driver, he would have been better off in the 88 car.

I hate to say it, but the 24 car until he proves that he can't run well with the COT.

Hendrick Racing once again continues their dominance as of late and especially in the COT cars winning its fourth COT race and thus far every COT race. What is it with Hendrick Racing? Are their drivers that good or is NASCAR showing favoritism towards them? Ford struggles again with Kenseth pulling in their best finish at 10th; not really newsworthy when Toyota struggles but Blaney really had a nice run there towards the end because he only took two tires.

Standings for Fanhome League:

Hellwig – 175
Used : Kyle Busch
All4phillysportsfan- 170
Used : Jeff Gordon
TITANFAN : - 124
Used : Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Anyone one missed the first week feel free to join next week. One good week when everyone has a bad week and you are right in it.

Blaney had a great run and got spun out in the Ward Burton/Ricky Rudd crash. Vickers races well WHEN he qualifies, which hasn't been very often this year.
