All this is about is Dale Jr. wanting a bigger stake in the company. Teresa better be careful because I don't think it will take him much more to leave. I think I heard a rumor RCR wants him. |

ESPN just repored at the tail end of Sportscenter, that tommorrow at 11 am ET, a major announcement will be made from the garages/offices of DEI . At least that's where I think they said, my daughter wouldn't shuptup so I may have screwed up that part.

I heard tonite on local news in TN, that JR will be announcing he is leaving DEI at the end of this season and will be taking with him the Budweiser Sponership, the Busch Car, and Martin Truex Jr will follow him. Also rumor that he will be using Hendrick Motor Sports Engines in the 08 season.
Stunning turn of events if this true.

Yeah it is. I am not a Junior fan, but I am very anxious to see what happens. If he starts up his own team in Nextel Cup, he will be farther away from a championship than he was with DEI.

Yes maybe true, but DEI willl be irrelevant with out JR. that company was started by SR for his Kids not his Wife. Teresa irrates the hell out of me.
I'm as sick of her as I am Tony Stewart

It is official - he is leaving DEI at season's end.
He will be looking for a new team to drive for, and as of right now, he has no announcements to make about that. And ESPN sucks, they barely televised the Presser. And of course there is no where to even get the audio of the presser.

Junior will test the open market. Bob Dilner from Speed said that if the 18 team's performance does not change, that there could be something there with Junior.
I think he ends up at Gibbs.

Jr's going to switch numbers; imagine all that out of date merchandise now. Any chance he will drive the #3 because that number is still owned by RCR. |

And if you are a conspiracy theorist, yesterday's impounding of the #8 could be a direct result of a very pissed Teresa. I'm sure she has influence over someone on the #8 crew and could have rigged it so Junior gets screwed from here to the end of the season. Women are very spiteful when angered and I think Teresa has more than enough moxey to try and pull this sort of vengeful act.
