Yea, what a game by Smoltz; he is a damn fine pitcher to have up on the diminutive hill. And, nice to see Horsie around these here parts, especially when it's packaged with a win.

Nevertheless, this team cannot abide many (any?) more three game losing streaks — unless they come at the tail-end of some 10-15 game winning streaks. What a difficult team to watch . . .

P.S.: I've always had a moderate hatred for the Diamondbacks.

The last time we made the 2nd round of the playoffs was against the '01 Dbacks....
