Looks like driving my youngest & two friends to camp today was the right choice as I figured the Skankee game would be on Fox. XM at least had our guys calling the game, but still depressing. It was like da Pad game last night. All the scoring early the other team's ace (Dice K) having an off day & still the home team can't get it going!

And the Mutts win the game 1-0 in the bottom of the 9th of course. Horrible day all around.

Our days of counting on them to lose along with us are over it seems.

After 2 days? I think that's a little over-cynical. I have every faith in the Mets' ability to continue losing. Unfortunately, I can't same the same for the Phillies.

My preseason predictions for our division:

Philadelphia   86  76    - 
New York       84  78    2
Atlanta        83  79    3
Florida        79  83    7
Washington     76  86   10

I'm either going to come out this season looking like a genius or a complete idiot.... not much room in the middle ground with those picks.

Considering I picked us 3rd, I'm hoping for the latter.
