I still can't get over the fact that we've lost 9 of our last 14 and gained 2 1/2 games on the Mets.

Just got in myself, something about a sunny day in Socal that keeps me away from the indoors.

But my XM radio kept me in touch as I did my best dirty old man impression while riding around town. Good to see Smoltzie coming back well. Edgar enfuego & I still think Harris is this season's Punkin aka Charles Thomas!

I dunno what in the hell has happened to Willie. I keep waiting for the shoe to drop and him to remember that he's Willie freaking Harris, but it hasn't happened yet.

Philly up on Detroit now 5-2 bottom of 8th - it's iffy as to whetheer we'll gain any ground on them, doubtful.

I hope Kyle Davies can pitch a great game for once tommorow. We really need the sweep. But looking at his past performances I'm not expecting much.

Kyle Davies: WINS - 3-5 ERA - 5.70 WHIP - 1.54

In Davies' four good starts, he's given up 5 ER in 28 2/3 IP, for a 1.57 ERA. In his 8 bad starts, he's given up 37 ER in 33 2/3 IP for a 9.89 ERA.

Let's hope the good Davies shows.

Well... remember that bad D started with Davies own blown coverage of 1B. He does his job & inning is over with 0 runs scored.

Will it bloom this year? Or has the sudden frost disturbed its bed? If it wasn't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college.
