Ya know, after the bad start he hit .280 (with no walks and a little power) the rest of the way until Chipper was moved back to third. He just couldn't overcome the bad start as far as making his numbers look good, but he did turn back into Mark DeRosa before losing the job. Then he turned into Superman last year playing half of his games at Coors Ballpark West in Arlington, Planet Earth, Sol Field, so the Cubs threw big bucks at him to play every day.

So, what's the over/under on the date Zambrano is traded?

Was I the only one who thought Chip was just a little too excited calling Derrek Lee's homer? I've still never heard him get that excited over a play that went in the Braves favour.

Yeah, I kind of had to do a double take for a minute there to see if the game was actually on TBS.

Ah try not to pay much attention to Chip. Davies must be gittin' tarred, all this running the bases and coverin' pfirst. 104 pitches right now.
