I actually like the kid. I wish Cox would have started him at second last year a couple of games to see what he could do there, but that has nothing to do with the player. Keep in mind that he broke his hand about the first game he was here, and never complained and still played. I like that in him. That is much more than I would have ever expected from anyone, but he new we needed him so he was there for us.
I would love to see him given a chance to start everyday and see if he could do it or not. If he can play second, he could be the leadoff hitter we need. Coudln't he? |
