Assuming this is to replace Mr Hampton. I dont see us signing him and him not making the club...Not really thrilled about the deal but from what I remember Redman was pretty decent his last year in Florida so lets hope coming back to the NL and the NL East will be good for him....

If we use him for a few weeks and dump him when (and if) Hampton comes back, I think this is a good move. My only fear with a deal like this is that he will dominate in spring training, suck in the regular season, and that we will then allow him to take someone else's spot after Hampton comes back in hope he will rediscover the ability he showed when he was getting AA hitters out in March.
