Someone taking shots at someone else for a lack of biblical knowledge, may want to back up their challenge.
I can only recall one time that Jesus spoke out about homosexuality, and I don't even know where. But I do know that there is an entire parable concerning a Wedding.

Lenny- there is one place in the NT where Jesus supposedly spoke of homosexuality, and it is a pretty tangential reference at that, which takes a bit of stretching in interpretation. There are many many places where he speaks directly of the inviolable nature of marriage.

It's also in Leviticus, I believe, but that's not in the NT. It also probably says I am to be stoned for not knowing for sure. Leviticus is a harsh book.
That said, this is still quasi-germane to the topic, but I would like us to steer clear of the tangent this presents us. This ain't the CE Forum. |

I stand corrected. I'm sorry, I was thinking of how many times the bible references homosexuality, but you all said how many times Jesus said against it.
Although, isn't one time of Jesus saying it enough to make it so? I'm sorry I disagreed with you all. I didn't realize you would take it so personally. I guess I will crawl back under the rock I came out from now. |
