OT: Fantasy Baseball on Yahoo - Page 3

Meh. Head-to-Head is perfect for Football, but I just don't like it as much in Baseball. I play a certain number of H2H Leagues each year, but I still like Points and 5x5 Leagues better.

Is Yahoo H2H a strict points setup or a 5x5 (actually, usually 7x7) design?

Yahoo's h2h is based on catergories.......usually avg, hr, rbi's, stls, w's, saves, era, whip

so whatever your record is that week thats how its judged.

Espn is up and running, looks rather good. I joined the fanhomie league, and set up a private one for a bunch of local guys that we play for money, and draft offline. Think when I get back I'll set one up for the regulars that play around here. One on ESPN & one on Yahoo.

Just for those interested, ESPN does do keeper leagues on the free side also. Not sure what the "in-season" part will be on ESPN, but the choices and setup were IMO very good.

ESPN private invites have been sent out. I'll be setting up a H2H league at Yahoo tomorrow. For now this is an ESPN points only league, no keepers. I sent out invites to 11 managers that have always participated in my league's before, and that have hardly ever were responsible for having a DEAD team by July. If any of those 11 do NOT sign up by Feb 26th, I will pull them off the invite list and invite someone else.

pFans and pfanatics: New yahoo league set up. Points only, 12 team, live draft on Mar. 8 at 8 pm. EST. Whoever wants to play pm me with yer email addy and I will send an invite to ya. Please don't bother joining if you have a short attention span, or will not play just because your team is in last place.
