I'd have to say the first year of the streak. Watching the team celebrate after watching the end of the Dodgers game on the big screen was pretty cool.

Hey, I remember you...

I had forgot about the walk that knocked the Mets out. That was truly great. Anything that effect the Mets in a negative manner I have good memories of...

The parade downtown after the Braves LOST in the 1991 series. I will always remember it.

Hey Lenny!! It's good to be back (at least on the Braves board since I really never left entirely).

Anywho, we better get to post(padding ) so we can make sure our board is more active than those stinking Mets.

I guess I'll take the game in 1991 where Brian Hunter hit a 3 run HR in the 1st inning off John Smiley to lead them into the World Series.

I was at the Astros/Braves game where Furcal did hit an HR to win the game, which was the first playoff game I attended.

Every memory is better when it involves Brian Hunter.

Default Memories, Memories

I didn't read the whole thread, so if this is a repeat, I apologize.

But, this year, I added the Mets getting beat to some of my favorite memories and co-incidentally discovered that hate is almost as good as love.

Quality over quantity, I always say. But if you can have both, more the better. We're "winning" right now.

I guess this speaks to the sheer number of post-seasons the home team has appeared in, but the the one thing I remember is a LCS game I was at in the of AFCS. I remember it was maybe the 6th inning, and a dying quail was hit into shallow right feild, and then out of nowhere, David Justice streaks in and makes a diving catch for a key out, and the roar.....my GOD I swear it rattled me lungses together. My seat was field level, just behind the first base bag, and the guy I spilled my beer on after that play turned to me and said:

"We better win this game, or I'm gonna set you on fire to keep warm on the way back to my car...."

I will never forget Bream chuggin' around third to score and I'll never live down breaking my couch from jumping up and down when we won in '95. What an incredible streak of memories we have forever.

I have little faith that Frank Wren is much more than JS's personal puppet.
