I guess I'll take the game in 1991 where Brian Hunter hit a 3 run HR in the 1st inning off John Smiley to lead them into the World Series.
I was at the Astros/Braves game where Furcal did hit an HR to win the game, which was the first playoff game I attended. |

I didn't read the whole thread, so if this is a repeat, I apologize.
But, this year, I added the Mets getting beat to some of my favorite memories and co-incidentally discovered that hate is almost as good as love. |

I guess this speaks to the sheer number of post-seasons the home team has appeared in, but the the one thing I remember is a LCS game I was at in the of AFCS. I remember it was maybe the 6th inning, and a dying quail was hit into shallow right feild, and then out of nowhere, David Justice streaks in and makes a diving catch for a key out, and the roar.....my GOD I swear it rattled me lungses together. My seat was field level, just behind the first base bag, and the guy I spilled my beer on after that play turned to me and said:
"We better win this game, or I'm gonna set you on fire to keep warm on the way back to my car...."

I will never forget Bream chuggin' around third to score and I'll never live down breaking my couch from jumping up and down when we won in '95. What an incredible streak of memories we have forever.
